Each shape was meticulously modeled in Blender, crafted to reflect and complement the unique work of each student, creating a harmonious blend of individuality and connection. The vertical arrangement conveys a sense of upward momentum, emphasizing the evolution of ideas and the collaborative spirit of the group.

Working Upwards leverages the flexibility and interactivity of NewArtCity to bridge the physical and digital realms, offering a platform where graphic design can be experienced in a dynamic, spatial context.Designed in collaboration with Abigail Conant (view her portfolio).

Working Upwards is a web-based 3D exhibition hosted on the NewArtCity platform, showcasing the creative work of 15 students from the BFA in Graphic Design program at Boston University. This digital space offers an interactive and immersive experience that invites users to explore freely through keyboard controls.

The exhibition design features a series of vertically “chained” abstract, organic, shapes, symbolizing growth and collective progression.
